My brother is having trouble with his M Reg Corsa GSI hazards keep flashing constantly when he opens the door and when he turns the ignition on. There is a black box that is located behind the drivers side fuse box under the steering column that keeps ticking, when he takes it out the hazards stop flashing.
If anybody has had this problem before please let me no.

Sounds like an aftermarket alarm is going off but the siren has been removed.

Its not an aftermarket alarm mate, its a standard factory alarm thats on it.

Also the passengers side central locking has stopped working, so could be something to do with this???
