hi, my dads got a quaife gear display, it isant working at the moment and i have found the problem, its one of the chips that has blown, just wondering if any one has any idea where i could get a chip for it from or even have one for sale ? or have any ideas of how to make a new one ?

got direct to quaife is your best bet tbh matey. has ya dad got the receipt? dont know what quaifes warrenty is, but could sort it cheap or free?

no the guarantee will be out and the recipet is long gone, ha ha i was going to give them a call on monday and see, the new ones are £350 on quaife and there aint much to them.

hi thanks for the advice, but i think you got the wrong bloke, i spoke to quaife and they give me the contact details for a bloke called neil from geartronics who built the first clocks for quaife, with a bit of discussion and picture he then sent me a couple of chips to try in the clock, unfortunatly they havent worked so he is building a new display for me as the one i have now is nakerd
