I have a 1.7TD Isuzu engine going into my combo van (1.7 N/A diesel), the TD engine uses a big block F18 box whereas the current 1.7 uses a smallblock (F17 IIRC).

I doubt the smallblock setup can withstand the turbo torque (yes I will be upping the boost) so I want to drop the big block setup straight in.

Being a Nova man what differences are there? Will I need a rear mount spacer plate? Can I use cav 1.6 inner cv's and my current driveshafts??
