Well latly when I start my car up its a bit smokey (white) and water is coming out the exhaust...

It also smells like its overfueling quite bad sometimes?

As soon as I saw water I though HG! but it only happens on start up? after a drive if I park up and let it idle no water comes out.

Nothing ever goes right does it, you get the outside looking nice and then the engine decides to die.

so it only smoke when its started from cold?

have you checked the fuel vent pipes like i told you to?

Nope when I got back from yours last night it went in the garage to re do the skirt.

But when I was moving it my mom said water was coming out and I had a look and it was and it also stunk of overfueling agen

if its from any start up it will be stem seals on there way out.

has the skirt stuck this time?

Yeh but the jack pushed it down slightly so some tigerseal is showing which I hope I can remove.

Im more concerned about the engine though.

Smoke isnt so bad as its not on every start up only noticed it this morning which is the reason for this thread.

Its the water im scared about.

No mayo on cap though an temps are fine. Although there was a tiny bit of mayo at the bottom of dip stick before...

water coming out of your zorst isn't anythink to worry about its just condensation unless it does it all the time forget about it

This is basicly my problem only on a x16xe..

And Its overfueling because it stinks of petrol fumes on idle sometimes.

Just out of intrest, Does the car only have short runs or is it used for long runs every so often?

Use it everyday to and from work and any other places I need to go so not really short runs.

i know were there is a gsi engine with box 72 thousand mile new cambelt i owner from new u2u us if intrested.
