Ages ago i blanked off my EGR valve and yes when i've been booting it down them long private country lanes the EML light comes on.
Quick flick of the key and a couple of seconds later it goes off.
I've just got it plugged in with my mates little reader and it's brung up two codes, well 3 but one is saying about the EGR valve which i know is blanked off so we can cancel that out.
It brung up;
PO400 Exhaust Gas
&
PO170 Fuel Trim (bank 1)
Any ideas guys??
