the thing i dont understand is i had notifications saying Chris Ritch wrote on your wall, surely if it was my account doing it i wouldnt get those notifications!

Virus is called w32.koobface.A - http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2008-080315-0217-99&tabid=3 - click that link on how to remove it,
Thats if its the same as my mate, hopefully you have anti virus, if you havent got one install one! (AVG is good, google it) if you have got one then update your definitions and do a scan!
