what is the gearbox on the corsa sports? mines a 1.4 16v, sum1 told me it was an f14, i read a post a while back saying that vaux didnt make such a box, just read a post stating that its an f15 any1 help plz.

Could be an f15cr or a f13cr i believe.

I always thought it was F13 and F15 but if ya read this months T.V. it says they r fitted with F17's?????????

In the Total vauxhall this month, there is a article in there about the vaux Boxes.

It says the following;

C14SE (Nova SRI) = F13 - i put this one as i presume the 1st Corsas use this Engine.

Z14XE (Corsa SRI) = F13CR


These are the only 1.4 engines in the Mag.

yes the f13 had the pan which comes off the bottom to allow you to drop the clutch.

ecotecs have a dished flywheel so you cant drop the clutch anyway so they are fitted with f15.

Have never heard of f14.
