hi all ive just recently bought a nova with a red top engine in it full cage carbon buckets decent wheels suspention polly bushes full exust n stuff but also got my hands on a corsa b shell mint t plate power stearing electrick windows and that with the engine out ready for a wee lump put in and was wondering is it more or less straight fit for every thig ? i have been told the nova engine has been stranthend and welded so mounts might b welded in as this is my first project track car most advice would be helpfull thanks gary

same basis as the nova but you would need new conversion mounts and shafts/hubs etc. wouldnt bother myself. sell the nova and start again and you will end up with a decent wad of cash in ya pocket and a decent conversion.

if the nova's in good nick hen remove the engine and any fancy bits and sell the shell on with the xe mounts etc and use the money to buy a new fitting kit and drop the engine in the corsa shell

the diff spacer on the rear mount is the same as the corsa conversion one. i have the other conversion mount you will need(drivers side engine one) £20 posted. set of gsi shafts will cost you about £25 then its just wiring which is very simple. water pipes arent much different either, header tank is in a different place (bulkhead rather than inner wing) but re-routing this is very simple. and gaz, nova and corsa hubs are the same so if its motorsport shafts all he will need to change are the bare shafts, cvs and hubs can be re-used

cheers lads got a hoold of a full mounting kit for a bargin also corsa shell has full gsi kit in side it

aghhh lol dnt no wat to do ?

al start a progress thread n piks n see if use can help me out abit

as for the cage not th the moment mate as its gona b a track car
