Hi,not really clued up on making a web page etc.
But basically all im after is a page that just advertises my business in my area.
Not a big site 1 or 2 pages.
How would i go about this?Just sign up to one of those ones on google that charge £30 a year to design and host it?

Depends how professional you're wanting it to look really.
If you just want it to look basic, then get a few books and download dreamweaver and have a play about.
If you're wanting it to look proffesional (Not saying you couldn't make it yourself if you learnt how), then hire a web designer. A 1 to 2 page site for what you're after could be done with ease to a designer. A lot of rip off merchents out there, so be careful. It usually works around abouts £100 per page. Plus hosting ontop, which you could get for around £20 for a year.

you could just open frontpage and upload it to a domain, thats all i did..

works and is pretty fast, i only paid £10 for the domain tho.
