as above really, i have had to reformat hard drive and lost everything, i had a java based streaming software to stream from lappy to ps3, but cant remember it. any suggestions?

John and others have higly recommended PS3 Media server.
I just use WMP still, although have to convert MKV files which is a bit annoying

Yip PS3 media server does the job.
Still only good experiences with it, played everyhing I've thrown at it.

WMP for me, only because it did everything automatically. Haven't tried anything else.
