so ive got this well weird noise from my rear passenger side mot tester said my bearings going but it doesnt make the noise all the time just when i go over bumps :S its like a rumble or summets loose help please :S

Check the spring is seated properly and then check the bushes at the top and bottom of the damper. Basically just grab your spring and try and move it, if it clangs about its the spring, if it doesnt move grab the damper and pull that to see how much it moves. They will both move a bit but shouldnt move loads or clang about. Check your exhaust aswel to see if it hits the bodywork anywhere.

If you leave a wheel bearing too long then the wheel can fall off.

By fall off I mean the stub axle will shear and you'll find yourself being overtaken by something previously attached to your car

Seriously? Yikes that's well bad I'm gonna have to change that :s they hard to do or should I take it to my garage? And are they expensive?

I changed the rear wheel beating on my B on my own, cost somewhere around £25-£30 for the bearing iirc. Didn't take that long to change really.
