The idle on my 1.2 8v is erratic at the moment on startup. Only happens for a bit say the first minute of driving and usually starts with my car stuttering to start then revving rather high, been told to clean my idle control valve and that this should help. Is it easy enough to do and how do I remove it to clean. Any help would be great.
If it isnt the idle control valve any ideas? Been told everything from just disconnecting the battery overnight to stop using supermarket fuel

Also it sometimes cuts out when im in traffic but never when im driving along, i go to pull away and it just splutters abit then dies. Only way to get it to start again is if i turn the key with the accelerator to the floor.
