Currently have Dezent V type alloys 16' on my 1.6 sport, offset of the wheels is 38 i believe. Does this mean if I was to put a full kit or coilovers on the car to lower it say 40-50mm the wheels would rub?

Cheers for that, looks like different wheels are needed before suspension then. FFS lol.

The C SRi wheels are really expensive, every time I look they seem to sell for £400+ depending on condition and tyres Cesaro's I think you can get for £100-£150. But remember Cesaro's are 15"

yeah i originally wanted corsa c sri's but couldnt be arsed waiting around for a half decent set to come available so opted for these dezents, they're lovely wheels dont get me wrong its just that i've only just realised that the offset is no good for lowered suspension

if i remember correctly, all vauxhall or imry wheels have et49. so anything like softstars, cesaros, speedlines, slabs etc will all be fine to go pretty much as low as you want
