Ive got the chance to buy a 1.6 sport for £400, But needs wheel bearing and throttle cable doing and also its got no tax or mot but its in really good condition, At min i don't no if it would be worth buying does anyone no how much id after pay to get it back on road?

Well the wheel bearing and throttle cable isn't a big job. They are not that expensive either. Tax is £112.50 for 6 months, well it was when i got mine, think its £205 for the year.
But then when it comes to MOT, it might need work that you may not be able to see, which could easily bump up the price of the car.
You can pick up some good condition 1.6 sports for around £800 with MOT and tax.

Haggle price down as much as you can. Have a good check over car first before the m.o.t. If you get it for £350ish i'd buy it.
