Got a couple of questions i need answering. Ive got the engine out atm (is a 98 1.6 sport) the carbon canister i think inside the o/s/f wheel arch behind the lining... can that be removed or do i need it? Also it may be a stupid question but i cant decide what i want to do. It will eventually be running around the 350bhp mark, is it worth strengthening the engine bay? Is it really needed or is it more a peace of mind thing? cheers

I've got an XE and don't use the carbon canister.
I'd say you wouldn't absolutely NEED to strengthen the bay but it wouldn't hurt, especially if you're planning on upping the power.
