to a normal box?
What is it that is different?
Would I be able to change a box, straight out, straight in, as long as I take pics, and note what goes where etc...

There is electrics that go to an auto box too. more modern the car the harder the conversion imo.

Thats a really hard to understand description of what you are doing
But if its an auto box to just another SAME auto box, it will just bolt off/on.

straight forward job if your competent on the spanners mate. pull old one out, put new one in. With it being a bmw though, you may need to have some ecu reprogrammed to communicate with the rest of the car. Do the clutch while your in there too

Lolz, as said if you are changing the box for an identicle box, i would imagine it would be a case of unbolting, unplugging, draining, removing, then the reverse, without any need to touch the pedals etc.
electrics wont be a prob, i thought you wanted to change a goosed auto box for a manual.

indeed, if you were replacing it with a manual, you will need a shit load of extras, manual loom, manual ecu, pedal box, interior bits etc

£4400
Suppose the box will be a few grand and they charge £100 an hour, also its no car gearbox so will weigh a lot, so you will need a hand.
