Got a little bootlight here so went out to fit it but can't find the wiring/plugs for it anywhere

Why would they not have it in the loom for?

Not all of them, there are two types of loom. Generally you need the rear speakers to also have the perm live in there.

If you want to run one, take it from the radio loom. There will be two power feeds, yellow and red. One is perm live, the other ignition switched.
