Is there any alternator with a bigger power supply than the ones on the x14xe, and will it bolt straight on with no modification?

More amps you mean, Prob is, Might have to change the pully though.

Why do you think you need more amps?

because im running a very large stereo system and hid's etc etc and battery keeps going flat, thought if i put a bigger alternater on then it might charge it better

Going flat? I'd suggest a decent battery first, unless you're drawing major amps from the stereo. HID's actually draw less power than standard bulbs, so that won't cause any issues.

Unless its going flat while you have it running, its not a charging issue.

are you running your amp through an external capacitor? stops it sharply drawing amps when you get a bass kick
as tom said, its worth investing in a decent battery, get a digital battery tester on it, can tell you if its got a bad cell

how much amp in ur battery

i use 65amp battery an it's good to run lights colling fans and air conditioner

cheers for the help guys will try a new battery first then, and no im not using a capacitor atm, really could do with putting one in the, i really am running alot of power through the stereo
