Right, I'm after a new push bike for the summer months. It's literally for going to the pub on, few bike rides here and there so all road use. Not looking to spend loads, £250ish probably.

Been looking at these, 'coz I'm a country gent around town I like the look of these traditional ones and reckon I'll get loads of bitches riding one.

or

Now I haven't heard of Viking, but have heard of Claud Butler but the CB only has 6 gears, I'm guessing these will be ok for just pottering on roads though or it would be a pointless bit of kit. So which is better, reasons, any similar suggestions.

Peace and love x

Are you going to put clips on your pants too?

Seriously though, glad you're looking at these types of bikes since you are only riding on roads. Most people go for a sus mountain bike for some reason. Plus these are less desirable to thieves.

Don't want a fixie, totally sober. Just think they look kind of cool. I'm awesome so could totally make it look good.

I have a fixie, it's great fun to ride once you get used to it. I've just got a specialized allez though so not sure how much use it's going to get now
The kona looks a good shout for that price bracket. I've heard of viking but not really heard anything good or bad about them. Claud butler are okay I guess but nothing amazingly special.
