What's the best exhaust(s) to go for on an XE conversion in a corsa b?

Don't need a CAT as it is a 91 engine so a de-cat system is fine.

and would I be able to use the standard XE manifold?

I saw somewhere I could, (I might sound a bit noobish ) I just want to make double sure before I buy parts and then realise when I'm fitting them that they don't match up because bits are wrong!

Cheers in advance for any help

Can you prove that the engine is what it is come mot time etc??

Anything with at least 2" bore is what you need.

Mine had a 2.25" bore with decat,1 centre box and backbox.Powerflow system with Magnex backbox.Sounded awesome.

Had an ashley oversized manifold too.

I've got a 2.5'' Magnex on mine, I did have the Sportex full system a few years ago on the Van, but it was very loud.

I welded a stainless flexi section onto the end of the manifold then got a 2.25" ashley system, was about 200 quid and came with a plain decat section which i set to mate up with the flexi. Easy peezy and sounded awesome. Id advise going for a twin box system tho, ran it for ages with just the single box and it was good but seriously loud, dunno how i only ever managed to get one ticket for it

I would recommend a twin box system too.Heard both and the single is just too loud and tbh,it sounds shit.
Twin box still sounds civilised when pottering along, but then when you give it some gas it comes alive.

Also don't go 2.5" inch if your keeping the engine near enough standard, its a bit over-kill and you will probably lose a bit torque.2.25" will be more than enough bearing in mind the standard XE system is 2".
