hi there went to have a new water pump fitted to my 1.0 corsa 2003 as keep losing water
but they told me it just needed tightening up and hose fittings cleaned and the level is serpose to drop when warm and comes back up when hot? does ant ones else do that?

So it drops as the water temperature goes up? It shouldn't do that, no. It's normal for the level to raise above max when hot though, and drop back down to it's normal level when it's cold (after a few hours).

they reckon at vauxhall is that what happens on the perticular model of corsa?
