both cdr500's ive got here went straight in and needed no code, i was lead to believe that as long as it had its proper face then it wouldnt be needed, i fitted one from a mk4 gsi and the one in it just now is from a astra coupe and i needed no codes for them

Some had the code removed.
Unfortunately its hard to get codes for those radios, Only real suggestion is Vauxhall, but they will most likely charge £50 or so.

im sure a guy on here said he can get them. He just needs the serial number or something to generate it, unsure what his name was. It was a thread about the same sort of thing a few days ago, so if you go through them you might find him.
