Ok, so once upon a time my steering wheel stayed straight. Now it leans to the left. Had a wheel alignment and it came out the same, so now when i drive it, i have to hold it right to keep it straight and it vibrates enough that both my front passenger can feel it in the floor and see it in the steering wheel
Next thing. With my crooked steering when i steer a little right at speed, i get an awful clunky grinding noise.
I was leaning towards a bearing for the noise, but my girlfriend seems to thing its coming from under the car near the mid pipe, but after explaining to her that the steering and exhaust arent really linked that way, im now thinking right driveshaft (left is new)
Finally. When going slow over rough surfaces or cornering hard at speed theres play beyond the steering wheel. Thinking driveshaft play, rack and pinion, universal joint just before the firewall or a combo
