Hi, new to forum,
i have just fitted an x16xe into my nova track car project and i am stripping the wiring down (i am using corsa loom/wiring, corsa radiator, corsa dash/speedo,
basically i just need enough for
engine to run,
radiator and fan,
speedo, rev counter and temp
window wiper
fuel pump
no
air-con/PAS pump
lights/indicators (just about stripped these out)
switches
and any other bits
at moment i will keep it simple what are these for and can i get rid

also what wires must i not cut from plug that goes in back of dials for revs, speedo and temp (i know come are for lights/indicators)

3rd from bottom measure air temp outside for the centre consol display in a corsa.
4th from bottom looks like either fan connector for rad or for the horn/alarm siren
And the purple relay in the top pic is fuel relay. Unsure what the others are tho

Purple relay is not fuel pump relay, its part of the aircon, same with those in the 2nd pic. Its all interlinked with the rad fan, I found the best way was to just keep some of the thick fan wiring (right from the fuse) and then use a early nova rad temp switch with spade terminals and just earth the other side of it via the fan and factory wiring. If you understand that, If you dont, its cos im shit at explaining stuff.
The grey relay next to the purple one is for the heater blower, if you are removing the blower, relay can go too.
Most of the wiring on the back of the clocks needs to be keept, the only things to really remove is the airbag light wiring.
I've stripped 3 corsa looms for track cars now so know it all off the top of my head.

On X14 and X16 the relay is on the engine loom, right next to the ECU. Yes that relay is also purple, But its just a colour that vauxhall use for that type of relay.
On like 12v, 1.2 models the fuel pump relay is next to the glovebox yes.
