Can any one tell me what it means when you turn the ignition on and the fuel pump relay starts buzzing?

But now I've put the big thick live from the LET loom that's past the gromit for the bluck head it's stoped doin it but now it won't turn over. Could it just be that the Battery is just to low to give it the power it needs? I've followed the guides on how to do it to the letter so I don't see were ive gone wrong because it ran fine in my last corsa.

it shouldnt buzz. The fuel pump will make a buzz, but the relay should make a slight clicking noise

Very low battery could also cause this. Try a new battery first actually.

I've just checked the battery and it's 7.2v so thats proberly the why it's done it.
Fazza I've put the thick live on from my loom and now it's stoped and the fuel pumps getting power as I've cheacked it. Just nit sure what else to check.

when i checked the battery it was 7.2 volts so that's probably why its been like that because it wasn't getting the power it needed to flick the switch.
