I looked at doing this too mine but was told the back of the engine gets too hot and causes a lot of problems. Just a heads up dude

There was a company that used to make these for 106's which also did a lot request work.
Might be worth looking for some companies that makes decompression plates and asking for some to be made up.
i cant exactly imagine there being anywhere which stocks them on a shelf for the x25xe

or stick a few head gaskets together would be cheaper!

100% correct.
Forget worrying about lowering your compression, i would be more worried in cooling the engine.
You need to move the turbo away from the engine.
The only V6 engines which have worked turbo'ed have the turbo over the gearbox.
