ok on way to work this morning cold wet and the cv joint pops out again! has not done it since sataday. so the new ckip did not do alot any one got any ideas cv joint is not even 3000 miles old ino gearbox is fine was recon before it went in and that was less than 3000 miles ago! help

Was the joint located correctly in the first place?
Check the groove for the clip is not damaged.

its never came out since rebuild 3000k ago and popped out 3 times since sat this morning and now i tryed gettin it out and cant so i took it on a thrash test run so to speak so much abuse and it aint coming out and clip and groove are fine mate

is it a red top and how low is it if it is? i had issues with one of mines where it popped out constantly

nah mate its 2.0 8v its never done it now just started to and only about 60mil low with 14inch aint that low to be fair

its in there proper and corsa gsi and mk2 cav inners

i worked on one where the inner cv was faulty and not allowing the shaft to move in and out as the suspension was moving so the minute it hit a bump the shaft would pop just enough to lose drive and fluid
|

its odd in the 3000 miles sine rebuild never done it and just happend random uno u have that little bit of play on shaft i have that not to much same as other side really anoying me got to work ok today see if i can get home with out it popping out

cant be mate no one has ever had problems with the gsi shafts and cav inners im goin to change ball joint

Bet nobody has ever blown a brand new driveshaft just backing out of the workshop either, but that happened to mine

if it was shorter then it would of came out long ago it has not just popsout every other day so tonite im goin to put new clip on bottom ball joint check over everything ino its not the shaft being to small thanks anyway
