If I blank off my egr will it recover alot of power ?
Its a 1.4 16v sport
Also can someone post a pic of a blanking plate only I'm not sure wether I need to completely blank it or if have to leave a hole ...?

never done it yet mate, heard that it can make the eml light come on but apparently makes it run smoother...

Mine was blanked off and failed emmisions test, seems quicker with it on to me tbh, but thats just my opinion

does nobody have a friendly tester they go to? here of loads failing on emission's
extra £20 at mine

Fit it with a new gasket and bolt the EGR valve onto the back of it with it still plugged in

just put it back on for the MOT and save yourself £20 on a dodgy MOT

Blanked mine off. Passed MOT no problem with it blanked. EML stays on if you remove and unplug the EGR completely but this doesnt effect the MOT, well atleast it didnt in my case anyway.

Fuck taking off the egr valve and putting it back on for the test every year.
It's a fud to get at.
I've removed it on several corsas now, always seemed better.
I usually just make blanking plate myself though.
If your handy with a welder, get a spare erg and cut the cylider off the top, then weld up the holes.
