would like to say thanks for any advice in advance, iv given up with messing about with the 1.4 in mrs corsa c , it is worn an showing sighns of worse things to happen ie smokeing blue smoke an tapping wen cold an throttle body problem, so iv purchased a full 1.8 16 valve small block engine with everything from a vectra b,i have full engine , loom , ecu ,chip , transponder , exhaust manifold an downpipe , all other ancileries, would it fit in the corsa and run ok |??
oh an i will be declareing the conversion as mrs an kids have get in it,
i have done my fair share of c20xe an let conversions in corsa b but the corsa c seems a complete new ball game

that is what the bloke at a local garage said to me, he did say the , mechenism is breaking up inside the houseing or summthing. i didnt quite under stand what he ment. is holds back at low revs an missfires realy bad at low revs an when it picks up its fine

Is it a z14xe non twin port? The throttle body is a pain in the ass on these, I had to clean mine up with carb cleaner at least once a year otherwise it would cut out randomly. Worth having a look at it yourself before changing it.

think the throttle bodys on the Z14's are different to the X14's...

yea a z14xe non twin port, iv just brought a full 1.8 16 valve small block engine with everything out of a vectra b, to fit in the corsa, but im not sure if it will fit ?? and run ??
