Just pop it out with a flat blade screwdriver. Be careful not to damage the plastic around it though

You looking to take the unit itself out? If so you need a pliers... Pull the swith out first, pop a thin screwdriver up the hole at the bottom, fiddle about while pulling on the knob. Once you get that off you'll see two clips you need to squeeze with the pliers and it will slide out..
