What cable shifts fit or are available... Wouldn't mind an f13 if they are available in cable but are mounts the same?

Cable shift? Do you mean Gear selection or for the Clutch?

Cables would just be easier tbh...
Vx220 one would work.. Would it fit the x16?
Cars would be similar power and weight so similar performance... but f13 ratios would be awesome

That's what I mean. The cable mechanism not the gearbox
I would imagine it would work. Unless the gear pattern is different. Where reverse is etc but then it may just be a free movement on the cables which is dictated by the gearbox, so the mechanism would be interchangeable.

Do you think selector mechanisms are interchangable?

Yes a Corsa C Box will bolt up.
I have a scrap yard as you know, i have all corsa c boxs in stock with cables and shifter, i even have a small block 6 speed but unsure weather that would bolt up.
will check for you tomo.

F17 vectra gearbox with cable change, then fix f13 ratios into it. I prefer the mounts on the vectra f17 mounting system as well.

some more recent cars run cable shifts on small blocks, agilas, some astras etc
the turrets are interchangeable, altho the older boxes may not have the correct mounts on the casing and the brackets would need modified.
there is a guy on british rally forum using cable shift on an F20 in a corsa to good effect and it was literally a case of bolting it on and going. by all accounts a very easy conversion, as long as you make sure you get a complete setup ie, shifter, cables and turret from the same car so its matched. also make sure you get one with reverse up beside first like all corsas

ive worked on lots of c's that have the standard seletor the same as the corsa b, infact a common issue on the corsa c was the crap selector that used to break
