If my start/charge loom was damaged could it stop power to the dash ?

Depends how it was damaged. Check the fuses and check there is 12v getting to the fusebox. I fried the whole charge/starter look on my diesel corsa years ago. It was beyond repair so we made a new one to replace it. Everything worked fine after, just a vacuum leak where red hot wire had melted the pipe but an easy fix again.

Sll fuses are fine i.e none blown total mind bogler to me like haha

Check all main earths on the loon are tight i had something like this before with a conversion

all earths are fine aswell mate =/ been told to try bypass alarm as this hapend to my mates and also going ti get a new starter loom at the weekend so hopefully 1 of the 2 works and shud have it started next week
