Started the car up today and drove from my girlfriend
I thought it sounded wierd although its loud already
So i wound window down in the rain and it sounda like a subaru
Like a dog growling
What could be the problem?

Something to do with the exhaust i'd imagine, are there any holes in it/is it on properly?

True, but surely it would be losing power if it was only on 3 cylinders.

Its a x12xe
Tbh dont think its had a service for a long time and its on my to do list
Its not losing power though so tomorrow al change plugs etc see if it makes a difference

ht leads mite be wet, try cleaning them with electrical cleaner, this happened to my astra when i thought it would be funny to drive through a big puddle at speed

yeh i think it was the coilpack as i pushed it back down and its okay now
will still change plugs tomorrow

It's the coilpack 100% happened on my old corsa with same engine.

My 1.2 8v used to do this on cold mornings sometimes or when there was alot of surface water on roads. Usually related to HT leads or if you've gotten alot of water on an open cone induction kit. Quick spray of wd40 helps the ht leads, I shouldve changed them really

Changed the coilpack and spark plugs finally
And its still doin it when its HOT
Engine seems to be noisy too??
Please help need it done 4 pvs!

Had it on a obd and its missing on cylinder 1?
It has new plugs and coil pack
