i have just got a set of hids , there are hi /low ones , when i flash the high beams the right hand side bulb dose not turn of so both bulbs are lit and on the left hand side it works normal one gose off and the other comes on. BUT it flickers and i get a cracking noise from my left 6x9 ?

Take them out. You'll have to by MOT time anyway.
