Just Tryed to start my car after fitting my dash and it wont start :@
But the interior lights, the headlights etc work! When I was fitting my flocked dash and new wheel I removed this box:

But then this came apart and a few of the bits got lost:

Would that be my problem?
If it is I'm going to go to my local scrap yard and get a new one but is there anything id need to do or is it okay to click straight on?

Yes, it would have a lot to do with that. Its immobiliser 'chip reader' by the looks of it.
And that box in the OP is the Air bag sensor i think.
Put down the snips and walk away!

So the second picture is the chip reader? And if I go to the scrappys and get a new one will it just be the case of swapping it over? That second picture is the opposite side of the ignition barrel.

Personally id invest in some thru crimps and put everything back as it was, replacing anything you've broken

Yeah I know it's the bloody ignition switch man!! But I wanted to know if there all the same for ever corsa!! I don't need a bloody horn or the airbag unit! I just wanted to know if that stopped it from starting. So stop saying 'talking to pork' as I was only wanting help, and if your gonna be a cheeky cunt don't brother commenting
