Not sure if it'll fit. Wont make any difference.
Power and 1.0 dont belong in the same sentence

Placebo effect there.
Drilled box will only increase fuel consumption.

Even if it would, don't do it, apparently 1 litres don't like to be modified at all, else they run lumpy.
Also that engine provides about...40bhp standard? Maybe slightly more, but barely anything.
You probably won't see a performance increase, it could make a performance decrease. Even if it made a performance increase, the cylinders are only so big...you'd waste money by trying to make a small block faster, it's just not worth it.
You should concentrate on an audio system, or the aesthetic look of your car, build up a few years NCB and buy a 1.6 or 2.0 because you can throw thousands at a small block engine and at the end of the day, you can only get so much from it because the cylinders are small.

Not worth it at all, just leave it standard and save up for a better engine

I didn't have the exact stats to hand, but let's say it's 58, for arguments sake, I'm guessing your engine has at least 70k miles on it, meaning throughout the years, it has suffered some wear and tear, it will not be producing 58bhp no more.
It's still a very small amount of horsepower, you should consider a conversion, if you can afford the insurance

My old Corsa B 1.0 was dyno tested one year at 54bhp and the next year at 55bhp (book figure is 54bhp), so this losing power over time stuff is nonsense. The second year it had the airbox resonator removed, Ashley backbox, K&N panel filter, and the side part removed from the airbox. Of course 1bhp isn't going to make any difference whatsoever though, so as Root says you may as well just use it for a couple of years and then get something with a proper engine when the insurance is more affordable.
Btw, the air mass sensor is a common thing to fail, and having a cone filter makes it even more likely to fail sooner. Again, Root is correct, in that the 1.0 12v doesn't like to be messed with too much. They're a bit dodgy standard, let alone modded

It's not really worth it tbh.
Save your pennies for either a bigger engine or another car

you gotta be kidding me povey, boasting about having more power than a 1.2? you dont know what power is with that definition. the other guys are right though, better engine? new car? and if your saving for this V6, dont spend pennies on a useless 1.0?

ive got a 1.0 B drilled airbox and a exhaust. Not worth modding at all if you are doing it for "power" . trust me. If you're doing it for sound/looks it is a different issue.
