Not a vauxhall so a bit of a long shot but i wonder if anyone else has came across this? Basically the engine will crank but wont start as 'Engine immobilizer fault' shows up on the screen. Any ideas?

Cheers.

Well when we bought the car it only had 1 key so about 4 months ago we got a spare made and coded (i havent tried this since the problem) but thats not a peugeot key just a spare you get made. It must have a chip as we had to get a code for the new one.

If its a petrol model?? Check under the ecu near the drivers front strut there is a little electrical realy/module that gets water ingress. That could possibly be your problem. If not get a diagnostic check done
