Hi guys just after a quick bit of advice, iv just put a c20let into my mk2 cavalier to replace the 2.0 8v it did have, iv done the vac pipes and wiring as shown on the diagrams iv found on here and blanked off any bits necessary but i cant find much for the water pipes.
Basically iv done a few conversions before so have a rough idea and iv plumbed most of it as the old engine was.....
top rad hose to thermostat housing
bottom rad hose to black plastic pipe
both heater matrix pipes from the 2 smaller outlets on the back of the black plastic pipe
bottom of expansion tank to the side of the head
top of expansion tank to the top of the rad
now im unsure as to weather or not to run the turbo water pipes as iv been told there only really to help engine get up to temp quicker as the oil cools its?????
also my main question is on the inlet manifold there are 2 water pipes bonded together in a chunk of rubber one end goes from a t piece under the inlet maniold to by the alternator bracket and iirc the other is supposed to go the expansion tank but mine only has one outlet which goes to the rad not 2 like a newer tank/bottle so can i just blank this hose off or should i t piece it into the one iv got running from the bottle to the top of the rad???/
cheers

top of rad to the turbo , then turbo to the headertank, also bottom of headertank doesent go to the side of the head im sure that goes onto the water bar and one of the heater matrix ones goes to side of head

Your correct mate that's how iv always done them myself..... But...... Do I need the turbo ones??? The oil cools it the water is just an extra and to help engine get upto temp quicker on cold start? Also iv plumbed this one in the same way the 2.0 8v that came out was plumbed so its baffling me lol

Big rons correct head to right hand side matrix pipe
Closest outlet on water bar to header tank
Water bar furthest away one to left hand side matrix
Hard explaining lol
