my sister just phoned me and said her radiator fan wont switch off and it has drained the battery

astra g 1.8

im assuming faulty relay or fan switch if it has one, or is it part of something else, it has aircon

Might be the A/C pressure sensor, if you've got opcom it should be able to guide you in the right direction.

I'd say a short in the loom.
Doesn't it switch off with the igntion off then?

Yeah apologies, didn't read it properly, if it's draining the battery it must always be running then?

Must be down to wiring.
