i noticed a lot of people use the metal threaded bar along the top of the linkage.... why is this?
mine just has the normal shitty plastic one

my short shift kit came with a metal bar as its a differant lenght to the standard link.

i extended the actual C shape part of the linkage myself... felt ok i supose but would i be better off getting that rod bit im on about?

some corsas came with a metal link as standard, i got the kit as it was cheep and simple, the link was a differant lenght to the standard one. cant remember if it longer or shorter?
