On my green corsa redtop I had, when the engine got to temperature the engine would tick over at 1.5rpm. And now I've got the orange corsa it ticks over as normal. But I want t to rev faster like my old one but does anyone know how to do it? Just likes the sound and it made it loads easier to get quicker starts.

Not sure why you'd want to do that but adjusting the throttle cable up would give you that.

Just made pulling away quickly really easy. I've got a feeling it had something to do with the Ecu, I'm not to bothered about getting it done tbh, just wondered if anyone else's did it really.

Quite often when they register a fault they tick over higher to stop the engine stalling. Perhaps your old one had an issue with a sensor etc.

Mine revs at 1.5k then drops to bout 800rpm and splutters so have to rev it and then it sits at 1.5 again and fluctualtes between the two, I thought it was icv but gave it a real good clean but to no avail still does the same, thought it may be the small air leak I have on the top hat to tb

Check for air leaks between afm and throttle body, breather hoses and so on as that can cause and engine to idle high, also make sure the throttle cable is free and correctly adjusted.
Problem with the engine idling to high as that it will cause it to overheat!
