Anyone give me some advice as to fitting all these parts. I've got all new shoes, all new springs etc, drums, bearings and handbrake cables.

I easy removed them but the bearings were already broken so don't know what way to put them on? If I have to fit the shoes first, then the bearings then the drum? Or?

What about the shoes, there's that bar in the middle that tightens it. Do it just do it ruffly, as how are you ment to adjust them once the new drum is on? Or am I ment to set it at a right place then try compress the shoes together somehow and slip on the drum?

Any help much appreciated! Thanks

The adjuster in the hub is normally set so that its at its least widest point and once the bub is fitted to the car it will adjust up if you repeatedly press the brake pedal.

The old bearing shells will need tapping(hammering) out of the hub before you can fit the new ones(remove circlip first). The hub gets assembled with the bearings as unit on its own.

Yeah I've removed the old bearings. But do I fit the drum then place the bearings in? Or what order do I put them in? As there's 3 bits.

What do you mean least widest point? I could measure the inside of the drum and make sure the drum will go over the shoes? Then do I need to bleed the brakes first before the shoes push against the inside of drum?
