Got them fitted and not to plan..when I did it like this the bonnet arms them self would not go back in the gap to retract in to the wing, they were sitting on the cars frame about a CM or 2 out or so...
So would washers change the angle of the bracelets and where should I put them?, little help guys

lol at ur first pic. The second pic is right mate the arms will go back but you will have to do some adjusting with all the bolts to make sure everything lines up. washers wont do anything other than stop your bonnet from working altogther. all you are doing is moving the original bracket of the bonnet so it sits higher up. its difficult to explain in a message

what i would say is your brackets look much wider than the ones in the second pic so your bonnet might sit really high

Hmm ok thanks for the input guys, the arms Are sitting on the top of the bulk head where the black ruber strip goes across the bay. Nees to angle he brackets out slightly but not sure how to do it. Ill get them back on and take a pic or two for you guys to see what I mean.

if you need to angle the brackets out maybe you have them on the wrong side or wrong way round

also i would say the ones in the second pic are wrong and the bonnet hinges should go on the inside of the metal plate the same side as the bonnet. fitted like that the metal plate will push the bonnet hinge out further which will be the reason why you cant close the bonnet

I'll try them on the inside and see what happens, brackets can't go on the wrong way there exactly the same both ways

There fitted rite now i Put them on and here's what happens...

There sitting on the two black plastic trims and won't allow the bonnet arms to retract and the one bracket is about 2-3 cm's out on the drivers side not allowing me to bolt the back of the hinge on. Really had to force the drivers hinge for me to get one bolt in...
There sitting on these:

Any ideas guys?.

Undo the bolt and push the bracket forward look in the other pics people have shown you you clearly haven't fitted it the same as them

That's not going to do a thing if you look what I've said it's sitting on the black trims either side..... Weather the bracket is moved forward or not on the hinge so don't see how that's going to prevent it from sitting on the scuttle and wire housing plastics...

Your picture is not fitted the same as Aidan's it doesn't take a genius to notice yours still aren't fitted right if you make the end of the bracket flush with the metal plate then it won't catch. Loads of people have given you te information to fit them but you are clearly not listenning to them why don't you just take It to a garage and get them to do it for you

No your missed he point there sat 3cm's or so from the space to retract in it has nothing to do with how it's mounted I can't move the rackets as this is where it lights up when there bolted to the bonnet

Just look at how Aidan has fitted them and then look at urs they aren't the same. Your brackets are too far back which is why they are catching if you undo the bolt the bonnet will push further forward away from the plastic. All you are doing with these is moving the bonnet further away from the car so in theory extending the bonnet mountings all the mountings and the way the bonnet works is exactly the same . They were fitted to Aidan's car without any issues so it's clearly you who can't fit them properly
