How do I adjust my clutch on corsa b x reg 1.0 12v I know it's done by the cable thing but which way so I turn it to bring the pedal down cos it's waaaaaay too high thanks

Turn the plastic block anti-clockwise
(righty tighty, lefty loosy and all that)
go 2 full turns then test it out. Repeat until your happy with it.

It could be high coz the clutch is worn out.. Just winding it down might stop it fully disengaging

It had a clutch less than 3000 miles ago and the car has been stood for 9months when I bought it the seller said it needed re-adjusting cos it's new but he liked the biting point high

Winding it anti-clockwise will give you more pedal travel before it begins to slip. i'm assuming that's what you were after with the original question

I want the biting point to be lower, the biting point is right at the top of the pedals travel at the minute so which way should I twist it
Ps sorry I'm a simpleton when it comes to this

Yeah i know what you mean. Anti-clockwise.
Basically, twist it, then try it. keep trying it both ways until you're happy with it.
