right iv got hold of a light so i can relocate the plate on the bumper,
but the standard light has 3 wires, and the new one only 2,
any ideas any one?

well ones gotta be a live and ones an earth...so just connect them up...
The third not be needed, unless its for a different 'mode' so the circuits are separate.

Obviously not a corsa B is it? Coz they only have 2! I dont no why a 3rd would be needed in any case!!?? Just test to find out what wire is neg and what is positive

Get a pair of wires and connect them to your battery and find out how to wire it. You can't really break anything.
You could help everyone here to help you by answering their questions, ie where did you get the bulb?
I'm thinking you have a double filament bulb, they have 3 terminals; ground, filament 1, filament 2.

yeah,
i got mixed up,
the standard rear light has 3 wires, but its only actually 2 connections,
so, i just connected the two wires up, cheers anyway lads,
