also does it matter that this kit comes with normal shocks that aren't shorter or uprated, would i notice the difference?

Speaking from personal experience,i don't know if there's going to be a difference in the quality of the ride(a bit more bouncy?).But people say that if you get lowering springs you should match them with shortened shocks,cause if you don't the standard shock will do the dampening in the lower part of the chamer and it's not gonna last long(think you say it bottoming out?)But i have standard gas shocks on mine and it's lowered -35mm(about an yaer ago) and i don't have problems(touch wood).But i still think you should match your kit to improve the quality of the ride.

Aint the standard shocks oil rather than gas?

I have the kit, Im not sure whether its the same with other lowering kits but hit any kind of rut and it jarrs, other than that its been fine.

Sorry i wasn't specific.By standard i meant not shortened.They are Turbo Boge-Sachs.
