Yes
has been done a few times
Most recent is a 3.0litre V6.
Would u want to do it?
Reason to do it: Will eat up motorway miles fast, and would be very fast, but fcukin scarey
Reasons not to: Wont go round corners, at all, drinks a lot of juice, you will need shares in yokohama, lots of work, power for £££ isn't that good, too heavy.

Dont do it mate. If you want big power go for a C20LET its lighter than the V6,fits easyer, and can have more power and torque.

the v6 has more power, but the 2.0 is alot lighter, and as we all know the light the car the quicker it goes
+ if u decide to tune the v6, its megga bucks!

i will tell u soon as i am looking into changing my 2lt for a V6 just to be differant as i feel a Wide Kit and Massive engine will be cool.
it looks like i have to frame the engine.
so if anyone knows where there is a old style 2.5v6 out of a cav let me know
i am only doing it as every man and his dog has a 2lt 16v, i feel 0-60 will be about same as the 2lt 16v but topend the V6 will keep on going
my m8 has a Nova V6 (brett) and i think he still runs 15's on the 1/4.....
and the sound of a V6 uuuummmmmmmmmmmmmm

you might as well put a turbo in coz your garented 1/4 miles in under 15 sec as i saw an astra doing it in 14.6 at modifying nationals at stratford
