2day my revs were very high it kept going over 2, which its meant to be just under 1, does anyone have any ideas why its did this? its a sri k-reg 8v.

Could be a few things, dirty idle valve, split intake hose, sticking throttle or split inlet manifold gasket.

might also be the cable wich goes from manifold to block, earthing or something like that...
