Hi all! Know that this is meant to be in the FAQ, but can't find it anywhere and am going mad trying to find it on the web (even bought a Haynes manual!!).

Basically I'm looking to get 15" alloys for a Corsa SRi L-reg (old style).

Know the PDC and ET number I need, but what about tyres? May seem like a stupid question so apologies if it is.....

What tyres go best with the car and that size alloy? 195/45/15s ? Surely if I get the bigger wheels, the speedo will be wrong as they will roll for a longer distance?!

What size tyres would best fit the alloys and leave the speedo within reasonable limits? Don't have any intention to lower the car so 17inch will leave it on stilts! What size tyres would people recommend.........

Cheers! It has pretty pics too! What tyres do most people here use on 15" wheels? Looking at 195/60/15 after the diagram thingy....

Ideally, you want 195/45/15. Personally, I have 195/50/15, simply because they were cheaper.
