you havent got a clue have you!
all it does is reduce the throw inbetween gears, and nobody else will be able to see it or know its there apart from the driver
i have a weghted shift rod & short shift kit on mine, and it reduces the throw & also the effort required to change - one of the best mods i've made

its a bit different on a golf than it is for a corsa
you just bolt it onto the selector rod then pick your desired setting, although mine has a slider bolt setting
